Coach Taline's Bio
- At the age of 19 Taline took her first Group Exercise class at Western Michigan where she immediately fell in love. After moving to Grand Rapids and having two boys she decided to pursue her passion for fitness and got her AFFA Primary Group Exercise Certification and began to teach classes.
- Taline knew from the moment she started to teach that this is what she was born to do. She began to see her participants become stronger and grow in their fitness journeys. After having her third boy she knew that she wanted to make health and wellness her career. She got her Personal Training Certification 10 years ago and began to train clients on top of teaching Group Fitness. Since then she has acquired multiple certifications in several different disciplines.
- “Studies have shown that the number one thing to extend your life is not exercise but connections with people so putting the two together is the perfect storm which is why I love Group Exercise. It creates connection with people and an energy you can’t get on your own. I love to see members do things they never thought was possible.” Taline’s goals as a trainer and an instructor became different through her own personal journey. She started to realize that becoming stronger on the outside made you feel strong on the inside. Rather than having her clients and participants focus on how exercise makes them look she tries to help them focus on how it makes them feel.
- Taline loves to encourage people to believe in themselves of something they never thought possible. 18 years later she finds herself grateful that people let her be a part of their fitness journey. Clients continue to tell her how much how she inspires them, but the reality is they are the ones that inspire her. “There are so many people out there that wish they could be doing what we do but they can’t because of circumstances so instead of saying we have to do more I say we GET to do more.”

- I hated fitness growing up.
