Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Kim moved to Grand Rapids in 2005 to begin her college career at Grand Valley State University. After completing her undergrad in Psychology, Kim shifted her graduate studies towards higher education. Her passion for helping others in their personal development is shared through her studies and her teaching as a yoga instructor.
Kim has been active since she was little with a background in multiple forms of dance including lyrical, tap, jazz, and pointe. Yoga brought Kim’s love for health and wellness, physically and mentally to the forefront by encompassing the mind, body, and spirit. She is committed to practicing yoga and meditation every day as part of AM Yoga’s 365 program, where she also teaches.
When she’s not in school, meditating, teaching or practicing yoga, Kim also enjoys long distance running, reading, and going on adventures with her husband.
