Ashley is originally from the east side of Michigan, and moved to Grand Rapids in 2009 to pursue her education. Her interest in human growth and development, and how we fulfill our potential, led Ashley to pursue studies in psychology, and ultimately an MA in Counseling and Psychology.  An athlete since childhood, Ashley always knew that physical fitness played a large role in overall wellness. Through her studies, and personal journey she developed a deep passion for sharing this knowledge with others. Ashley believes that health and wellness are a journey you are constantly on, not a destination you arrive at. She is passionate about encouraging others to develop a life style centered on nutrition and fitness that is sustainable and nourishing. In her personal practice Ashley has grown to love the inner, as well as outer strength that comes from a consistent strength training practice. She loves to encourage others to push their mental limits to achieve their potential. She believes that strength training unlocks a confidence that spills into every area of your life.

Outside of getting her sweat on, Ashley finds joy in spending time with her husband and family. She loves exploring new recipes, and getting hooked on a good book.

Brownies and ice cream!
